My Story
I am a New York based, Nigerian born, U.K. educated freelance Barrister, and legal consultant offering top-quality, low-cost legal advice and assistance to clients in the Middle East. I spent the last 15 years working at Rank 1 law firms in Karachi and Muscat during which time I was consistently ranked as a star individual /next generation lawyer by Chambers & Partners, IFLR 1000 and Legal 500.
After graduating top of my class from one of Pakistan’s oldest and most prestigious public universities, I completed my LLB from the University of London and was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 2007. I taught the Law of Trusts and Law of Evidence to LLB students in Karachi, Pakistan and continue to mentor and train young legal talent.
In 2019, I made a transition to freelance legal consulting and have thoroughly enjoyed this challenging yet exciting shift. In addition to my legal consultancy work, I freelance as an independent screenwriter, life & career coach and public activist. I speak fluent English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, and a have a working knowledge of Arabic and Farsi.
